宝鏡寺 伝言館（楢葉町）Pilgrimage site
宝鏡寺の一角に、福島第一原発事故の惨禍と教訓を在野の目線で伝える資料館「伝言館」はある。故早川篤雄住職は、戦後の浜通りで、原発の誘致・建設、変わる地域を見つめてきた。地域で福祉施設を運営するなど「自他がともに幸せになる道」を探ってきた。その一方で、長年原子力発電所の危険性を指摘し、反対闘争に身を投じてきた。原発事故で、自分の考えが正しかったと確信。楢葉町は2015年9月まで全町避難を強いられた。東京電力を相手に2012年に提訴した「福島原発避難者訴訟」では原告団長を務め、2022年3月に勝訴が確定。東電に社長名で公式謝罪する場をつくらせた。2020年私費で建設した伝言館には、半世紀にわたる闘争の資料の他、ヒロシマ・ナガサキ・ビキニなどの資料が多数保存展示されている。庭には広島からの非核の灯が静かに灯る。
Hokyo-ji Temple Dengon-kan (Memorial Museum)
In a corner of Hokyo-ji Temple is the Dengonkan, a museum that conveys the horrors and lessons of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident from the perspectives of local residents. The late Chief Priest Hayakawa Atsuo had spent the post-war years in the Hamadori area, watching the planning and construction of the plants and the changing local community. He actively campaigned against the nuclear plants, pointing out the dangers of the nuclear power plants. The 2011 accident forced the entire town of Naraha to evacuate until September 2015, vindicating his concerns. In 2020, he built a privately-funded museum, which preserves and displays many documents and artefacts from his struggle over half a century, as well as his collection from Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Bikini Atoll. In the museum garden, there is an anti-nuclear flame from Hiroshima is quietly lit.
